Portable Greenhouses

A portable greenhouse is a structure in which humidity and temperature can be controlled for the protection and cultivation of a plant. Whether it is small or large, a portable greenhouse is a structure with a plastic or glass roof and often the walls made of similar material. It heats up because of the incoming sun radiation; it then proceeds to warm the plants and soil, where it can be controlled for the plants benefit.

Greenhouses can be separated into plastic or glass greenhouses. Commercial greenhouses are used for the mass production of flowers or vegetables. The greenhouses are filled with equipment such as heating and cooling systems, screening installations, irrigation, lighting, and some can even be automatically controlled by a computer system to setup a suitable environment for the plants inside.

The plastic or glass used for a greenhouse, portable or not, can work as a transmission medium for different frequencies, and the result is to trap energy and sun within the portable greenhouse, which can heat both the soil and the plants inside it.

This effect warms the air near the ground, and this air is prevented from rising and flowing away by a basic cooling system. A basic cooling system can be as simple as a fan. Greenhouses thus work by trapping radiation from the sun and preventing convection.

There are many positives to owning a portable greenhouse. First they are easy to move around, this way they can be moved to catch the most sun. They are easy to construct, as long as the directions are followed. Also, they come in various sizes, some as small as to fit just a couple of plants into it, and others to fit a hundred into. Best of all, they are cheaper than permanent greenhouses, which is great for someone who grows plants as a hobby. Overall, portable greenhouses are a great way to keep plants growing healthy.
